This is where I share what I’m learning on my self-publishing journey as well as give updates on how my books are coming along.

I post two times a week (sometimes).

It’s called Monday Must-Reads (aka Friday Features), and it’s the most popular thing here. It’s a list of tips sorted into six categories (such as Writing Tips & Inspiration and Publishing News & Tips) with up to 5 links each. Perfect for reading throughout the week in your spare time. On Wednesdays, I might give you tips based on what I’m learning from my writing and self-publishing experience. Or I might share what I’m working on. Or I might share anything else that I find interesting/funny/insightful.

The Resources page is worth it’s length in gold! There’s tons of stuff listed there that can help you write, revise, edit, and publish your novel. Or just connect to other writers. There are critique groups, writing courses, blogs, places you can self publish or build your platform, and much more. And I’m always updating that list with even more writing resources so make sure to check often.

About Me

I’ve been wanting to be a writer ever since I can remember. But I didn’t take that seriously until recently. You see, I never had the courage to write my first novel. I had a lot of false starts and self-doubts.

During Nano ’11, I was seven months pregnant (and a full-time college student) and decided it was now or never with the writing thing. I took the plunge, met the 50K goal, and am still writing today.

I enjoy writing young adult fiction as well as copyediting other writers’ manuscripts. Some of my hobbies are reading, playing soccer, and watching movies. I live in Georgia with my fiance and daughter.
